▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Improving tribological property of titanium substrate through electrophoretic deposition (EPD) involves using titanium substrate that is a pure titanium substrate, coating pure titanium substrate with graphene nanoplatelets at deposition parameters of 50-150 Volts, at room temperature for 5-20 minutes, annealing at a temperature of 300℃, where the EPD suspension comprises graphene nanoplatelets, magnesium nitrate hexahydrate as a surface charging agent, and isopropyl alcohol as a liquid suspension medium, and electrophoretic deposition is cathodic electrophoretic deposition, graphene coated titanium substrate has a coefficient of friction from 0.02-0.17 and, a specific wear rate from 0.59-0.28 cubic millimeter/Nm. USE - Method for improving tribological property of titanium substrate through electrophoretic deposition. ADVANTAGE - The method can enable the coating of complex shaped substrates while controlling the coating thickness effectively, and has cost-effective, easily scalable low-temperature process, and efficient.
