NOVELTY - Graphene modified aqueous anti-corrosion coating comprises 50-65 pts. wt. aqueous hybrid resin, 1-2 pts. wt. carbon black, 8-15 pts. wt. anti-rust silicon powder, 5-8 pts. wt. sericite powder, 12-20 pts. wt. deionized water and 8.6-17.3 pts. wt. auxiliary agent, where the aqueous hybrid resin is composed of 200-280 pts. wt. epoxy resin, 5-15 pts. wt. modified graphene slurry, 20-30 pts. wt. n-butanol and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether mixed solvent, 48-60 pts. wt. methacrylic acid, 20-32 pts. wt. butyl acrylate, 8-20 pts. wt. styrene, 7.2-10 pts. wt. benzoyl peroxide, 15-20 pts. wt. dimethylethanolamine solution, 120-150 pts. wt. deionized water, 1-2 pts. wt. N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamine and 1.5-2.2 pts. wt. 1,4-butanediol. USE - Used as graphene modified aqueous anti-corrosion coating. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for Preparing graphene modified aqueous anti-corrosion coating comprising (i) mixing graphene oxide with anhydrous pyridine, placing in an ice-water bath after ultrasonic vibration, adding vinyltriisopropoxysilane dropwise, reacting for 1.5-2 hours, adding 30-50 pts. wt. water, and continue stirring and reacting for 20-30 minutes, continue dropping 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate, and reacting for 2.5-6 hours, adding 30-50 pts. wt. water, continue stirring and reacting for 20-30 minutes, then suction filtering and washing, adding solid into 3000-5000 pts. wt. water, adding hydrazine hydrate, reacting in a water bath, filtering, washing, and vacuum drying to obtain modified graphene powder, adding the modified graphene powder into water, and ultrasonic treating, and uniformly dispersing graphene in the solution to make 10% modified graphene slurry, (ii) adding 200-280 pts. wt. epoxy resin and 20-32 pts. wt. mixed solvent of n-butanol and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether in a ratio of 1:4 into a four-necked flask equipped with a stirrer, a condenser, a nitrogen conduit, and a dropping funnel, heating at 100 °C, fully dissolving epoxy resin, start stirring at 200 revolutions per minute, slowly adding mixed solution of functional monomer methacrylic acid, styrene and initiator benzoyl peroxide within 2 hours, continue stirring the reaction for 3 hours, then lowering the temperature to 70 ℃, stirring the reaction and refluxing for 1 hour, then adding modified graphene slurry, N,N-dimethylcyclohexylamine and 1,4-butanediol, reacting under nitrogen atmosphere, adding mixed solution of dimethylethanolamine and deionized water configured at a ratio of 1:3 to neutralize to a pH value of 7.5, and continue reacting for 25 minutes while stirring, adding deionized water and continue dispersing, and allowing to stand for cooling to room temperature to make aqueous hybrid resin, and (iii) adding 2-20 pts. wt. deionized water and dispersant into a dry and clean dispersing kettle, start the mixer, controlling the speed to 300-500 revolutions per minute, adding defoamer, carbon black, anti-rust silicon powder, sericite powder and anti-settling agent, first stirring, using a sand mill to grind to a fineness below 50 um to obtain resin-free pulp, adding resin-free pulp and aqueous hybrid resins obtained in step (i) successively into a dispersion tank stirring speed of 300-500 revolutions per minute, adding pH regulator, wetting agent, leveling agent, anti-flash rust agent, film-forming auxiliary agent and thickener, second stirring and mixing, and finally filtering through a 100-200-mesh filter screen to obtain final product.
