NOVELTY - Composite barium sulfate filling masterbatch comprises 1.4-2 wt.% stearic acid, 1.2-1.8 wt.% coupling agent, 8-20 wt.% low density polyethylene, 1.8-2.8 wt.% polyethylene wax, 0.1-0.3 wt.% template modifier and barium sulfate (balance amount). USE - The masterbatch is useful for filling transparent plastic (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The masterbatch: is conducive to uniform and detailed arrangement of barium sulfate powder; has improved strength and can be applied to transparent plastics to achieve better transparency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing composite barium sulfate filling masterbatch, comprising adding barium sulfate and template modifier into a high-speed mixer with a rotation speed of 800-1500 revolutions/minute, stirring at high speed and heating to 120-130 degrees C, adding polyethylene wax, low-density polyethylene, stearic acid and coupling agent in sequence, uniformly mixing, melting and extruding in extruder, and granulating.
