▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - An epoxy-amine adduct comprises a reaction product of a heterocyclic amine comprising a reaction product of a polyethylene polyamine comprising 3-10 nitrogen atoms and 1-8C aldehyde, and epoxide(s) comprising one or more epoxy groups. The heterocyclic amine comprises at least two nitrogen atoms in at least one ring. The epoxide is essentially free of polyether modification. USE - Epoxy-amine adduct is used in curing agent (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to adhesive, flooring, dust-free finish, lining, reinforcement, repair formulation, tooling, potting, casting, automotive component, marine application (ship painting, buoy painting and shipping container), electronic component (printed circuit base, potting of electronic component and wire insulation), sports goods (tennis rackets, golf clubs, canoes and skis), filament winding for container and tank, laminate for wind energy and propeller for plane, syntactic foam, etc. ADVANTAGE - The curing agent formed using the epoxy-amine adduct provides cured product having excellent hardness and water spot resistance, and improved tensile strength and elongation rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a curing agent, which comprises the epoxy-amine adduct and a plasticizer; and (2) preparation of the epoxy-amine adduct, which involves heating the heterocyclic amine and at least one epoxide at a temperature of 120-280 degrees C for 0.5-10 hours.
