NOVELTY - Preparing asphalt involves heating the base asphalt in the heating mixing tank to 175-180 degrees C. The flame retardant and anticorrosive modifier, crosslinking agent and styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) modifier are slowly added to the base asphalt in certain proportion. The mixing speed is 600-800 revolution per minute, and mixing time is 60-90 minutes. The colloid mill is used for high-speed shearing for 30-40 minutes, shearing speed is 6000-8000 revolution per minute, and shearing temperature is 220-250 degrees C, then developed in the finished product tank for 2-3 hours. The weight ratio of the flame retardant and anticorrosive modifier, crosslinking agent and SBS modifier to the base asphalt is (10-15):(2-5):(8-15):100. USE - Method for preparing asphalt used in coastal high-grade highways (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare asphalt that has very good high temperature resistance, better ductility, improves the corrosion resistance of asphalt, waterproof performance of asphalt.
