NOVELTY - The preparation method of nickel plated graphene reinforced silver based electrical contact material involves preparing nickel plated graphene by carrying out direct current magnetron sputtering on surface of graphene, atomizing 80-95% silver nickel alloy to prepare 200-300 mesh silver nickel alloy powder, the weight ratio of nickel plated graphene and silver nickel alloy powder is (0.1-3):(97-99.9), ball milling, mixing the powder, molding, cold press forming, sintering and extruding and rolling nickel plated graphene reinforced silver based electric contact material. USE - Preparation of nickel plated graphene reinforced silver based electrical contact material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of nickel plated graphene reinforced silver based electrical contact material with high electric conductivity, heat conductivity and increased hardness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation method of nickel plated graphene reinforced silver based electrical contact material involves (1) preparing nickel plated graphene by carrying out direct current magnetron sputtering on surface of graphene, (2) the content of nickel is 5-20 wt.%, atomizing 80-95% silver nickel alloy to prepare 200-300 mesh silver nickel alloy powder, (3) the weight ratio of nickel plated graphene and silver nickel alloy powder is (0.1-3):(97-99.9), ball milling, (4) mixing the powder, transferring into mold, cold press forming, sintering and (5) extruding and rolling nickel plated graphene reinforced silver based electric contact material.
