NOVELTY - Graphene structure includes graphene layers, where the graphene layers allow for microwave squeezing with gains up to 24 decibels over a wide bandwidth. USE - Graphene structure for use in quantum photonics and quantum microwave systems. ADVANTAGE - The system reduces noise to conduct optimal microwave-to-optical conversion, and allows microwave squeezing over a wide bandwidth at moderate cryogenic temperatures. The system uses voltages less than millivolts to reduce noise.
