NOVELTY - Prepreg with absorbing and electromagnetic shielding composite function comprises 40-60 pts. wt. prepreg resin mixture, 39-59 pts. wt. fiber layer and 1-10 pts. wt. shielding layer, where the prepreg resin mixture comprises 58-90 pts. wt. resin matrix, 5-30 pts. wt. toughening agent and 5-40 pts. wt. wave-absorbing powder. USE - As prepreg with absorbing and electromagnetic shielding composite function. ADVANTAGE - The prepreg has excellent manufacturability, stable electromagnetic shielding performance, high shielding effect, excellent mechanical property and characteristics of reliable absorbing and shielding effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the prepreg with composite functions of absorbing and electromagnetic shielding, which involves (i) drying resin matrix, toughening agent, wave absorbing powder, fiber layer and shielding layer at 60-110 degrees C for 1-10 hours, (ii) heating the resin matrix to a molten state, and mixing with the toughening agent and the wave-absorbing powder to obtain a prepreg resin mixture, (iii) regularly arranging the fiber layer on a yarn guide system of a prepreg machine, (iv) sticking on at least one surface of the fiber layer arranged in step (iii) with shielding layer to obtain a reinforced material mixture, and (v) combining the prepreg resin mixture obtained in step (ii) with the reinforced material mixture obtained in step (iv) through the prepreg machine to obtain the electromagnetic shielding prepreg, where the composite hot melt temperature is 60-150 degrees C and the hot melt pressure is 0.05-0.5 MPa.
