NOVELTY - A photocatalyst formaldehyde scavenger comprises 1-10 pts. wt. anatase nano-titanium dioxide, 1-10 pts. wt. copper-doped titanium dioxide, 1-10 pts. wt. platinum-doped titanium dioxide, 3-5 pts. wt. penetrant, 0.1-2 pts. wt. nano-silver, 1-3 pts. wt. modified graphene, and 50-93 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Photocatalyst formaldehyde scavenger. ADVANTAGE - The scavenger is far better than using one or two of the compounds alone, and has good effect under the condition of no light or visible light. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the scavenger comprising preparing copper-doped nano-titanium dioxide by sol-gel method, and loading surface with nano-platinum by thermal deposition method; mixing nano-silver, penetrant and dispersant accurately in proportions, adding 20-30 pts. wt. deionized water, adding to mixer, mixing at speed of 500-600 revolutions/minute for 30-45 minutes to obtain solution, adding modified graphene and 30-93 pts. wt. deionized water, stirring at speed of 1250-1400 revolutions/minute for 1-2 hours, and ultrasonically dispersing for 1-1.5 hours; and mixing penetrant, nano-silver and modified graphene, stirring, dropping to dispersing solution, stirring for 2-4 hours, aging for 32-42 hours at room temperature, washing with deionized water and absolute ethanol, drying, and grinding.
