NOVELTY - A graphene polyurethane sponge comprises 50-100 pts. wt. polyether polyol, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. amine-based catalyst, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. tin-based catalyst, 0.5-3 pts. wt. foam stabilizer, 0.5-7 pts. wt. water, 10-50 pts. wt. graphene modifier and 30-60 pts. wt. isocyanate. USE - Graphene polyurethane sponge used in oil absorption application (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene polyurethane sponge has strong hydrophobic property, excellent toughness, compression effect, acid and alkali resistance, can effectively absorb light oil on the surface of water and heavy oil in the water, and has oil-water separation efficiency of 99.99%. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the graphene polyurethane sponge, which involves mixing and stirring 50-100 pts. wt. polyether polyol, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. amine-based catalyst, 0.1-0.5 pt. wt. tin-based catalyst, 0.5-3 pts. wt. foam stabilizer, 0.5-7 pts. wt. water and 10-50 pts. wt. graphene modifier at 1000-3000 rad/minute for 20-30 seconds, controlling the temperature to 20-25 degrees C, leaving still for 3-5 minutes, pouring 30-60 pts. wt. isocyanate into the mixture, controlling the temperature to 20-25 degrees C, stirring for 5-8 seconds, foaming the mixture, reacting for 90-150 seconds, and curing.
