NOVELTY - The graphene heat pipe (100) comprises a body with a graphene, where the body is provided with a hot side to accept the heat from a gas turbine engine (10). A cold side is provided to reject the heat from the body, where an adiabatic portion is provided to flow the heat in the body between the hot side and the cold side. The body is partially coated with the graphene, where the body is integrally formed for the graphene. An end cap is provided to establish a closed fluid flow environment in the graphene heat pipe. A wick structure is provided in the body. USE - Graphene heat pipe for a gas turbine engine (Claimed) for an aircraft. ADVANTAGE - The body of a graphene heat pipe is provided with a graphene, where the body is provided with a hot side to accept the heat from a gas turbine engine, and hence enables reducing the temperatures at the back end of the high compressor added to overall system and reduces the weight and the cost of a graphene heat pipe, and also improves the thermal conductivity to provide a compressor flow path cooling with a reduced surface area. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a gas turbine engine with a fan section; and (2) a method for cooling a compressor flow path of a gas turbine engine.
