▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Biopolymer reduced graphene oxide-polyiodide nanocomposite comprises graphene oxide reduced to a biopolymer and polyiodide supported in the biopolymer. USE - The nanocomposite is useful for antibacterial composition and food packaging composition (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanocomposite: has antibacterial activity against gram negative bacteria and gram positive bacteria; is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and prevent problems caused by food borne pathogens. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for manufacturing the biopolymer reduced graphene oxide-polyiodide nanocomposite, comprising preparing graphene oxide by ultrasonication, preparing reduced graphene oxide by adding graphene oxide, biopolymer reducing agent, aqueous ammonia by hydrothermal method and suspending the reduced graphene oxide in iodine precursor solution.
