NOVELTY - Preparation of epoxide grafted amine dispersant-modified graphene involves preparing graphite oxide by modified Hummers method, adding preset amount of graphene oxide product to benign solvent, ultrasonically dispersing, adding grafted epoxide amine, refluxing at preset temperature for preset time, washing using anhydrous ethanol and deionized water until neutral, separating by centrifugation, freeze-drying or heating-evaporating, and removing solvent. USE - Preparation of epoxide grafted amine dispersant-modified graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method efficiently and economically provides epoxide grafted amine dispersant-modified graphene by simple method without formation of agglomeration or deposition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of epoxide grafted amine dispersant-modified graphene involves adding preset amount of solvent to a reaction kettle, adding amino compound of formula: HO-R-NH2 (I) and catalyst, stirring, adding a solution of epoxy compound of formula (II) or epoxy compound (II), stirring at preset temperature and pressure, cooling to room temperature, obtaining grafted epoxide amine of formula: H2N-R-O-(CH2-CH(-R')-O)n-CH2-CH(-OH)-R' (III), preparing graphite oxide by modified Hummers method, adding preset amount of graphene oxide product to benign solvent, ultrasonically dispersing, adding grafted epoxide amine, refluxing at preset temperature for preset time, washing using anhydrous ethanol and deionized water until neutral, separating by centrifugation, freeze-drying or heating-evaporating, and removing solvent.
