NOVELTY - Preparing graphene film comprises (i) uniformly mixing rare-earth metal ions, water-soluble polymers and graphene oxide (GO) to obtain a uniform suspension or hydrosol, introducing the rare earth metal ions and water-soluble macromolecules which is capable of coordinating with rare earths, and simultaneously establishing the multiple interactions in the system including coordination bonds, hydrogen bonds, and pi - pi interactions; (ii) casting or filtering the above suspension or hydrosol, and drying to obtain a GO-based film; and (iii) reducing GO-based film, washing and drying. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene film. ADVANTAGE - The method produces graphene film: has high-strength, high-toughness and high-conductivity; uses cheap raw materials and is simple and suitable for mass production and has good industrial production base. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for graphene film having a thickness of 5-20 mu m, is prepared as mentioned above.
