▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - An amino and thiol-based modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material comprises graphene and carbon nanotubes, where the surface of graphene and carbon nanotubes is coated with a layer of amino and thiol groups. USE - The amino and thiol-based modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material is useful for absorbing heavy metal ions and organic pollutants in sewage. ADVANTAGE - The amino and thiol-based modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material has nano-size and large specific surface area. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of amino and thiol-based modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material, which involves: (1) dispersing carbon nanotubes in mixed acid solution at 60-80 degrees C for 1-3 hours, followed by filtration and washing, and drying at 80-120 degrees C for 8-12 hours to obtain purified carbon nanotubes; (2) adding natural graphite to 98 %mass concentrated sulfuric acid, mechanically stirring until the graphite is completely dissolved, followed by the addition of sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate, maintaining the temperature at 0-10 degrees C, continuously stirring for 2.5-4 hours, placing mixture in constant temperature water bath at 35 degrees C, slowly adding deionized water, then mechanically stirring the mixture in water bath at 90-100 degrees C for 20-40 minutes, adding 600 ml deionized water, stirring for 5-15 minutes, adding 30 %mass hydrogen peroxide, centrifuging product at speed of 8000-10000 rpm, dispersing centrifuged solid material in absolute ethanol solution for 30-60 minutes, and vacuum drying for 12-24 hours to obtain graphene oxide; (3) weighing each of equal mass of graphene oxide and purified carbon nanotubes, ultrasonically processing for 2 hours, then purifying, dripping purified carbon nanotubes to graphene oxide, continuing ultrasonically processing for 30-60 minutes, filtering using 0.45 mu m filter, and vacuum drying for 8-12 hours to obtain graphene oxide/carbon nanotube composite material; (4) adding graphene oxide/carbon nanotube composite material to water containing ethanol, ultrasonically processing for 5-15 minutes, passing nitrogen protection, mechanically stirring for 5 minutes, adding acetic acid and 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane, stirring at room temperature for 12-24 hours, continuously adding acetone under stirring for 6-12 hours, washing 5-10 times resulting mixture using alcohol and distilled water, and vacuum drying at 60-80 degrees C for 8-12 hours to obtain thiol-based modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material; and (5) adding thiol-based modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material to three-necked flask equipped with ethanol, ultrasonically processing for 5-15 minutes, passing nitrogen gas, adding hydrazine hydrate, stirring at speed of 5000-10000 rpm for 3-5 hours, performing vacuum filtration, simultaneously washing with deionized water to neutral, and vacuum drying at 60-80 degrees C for 8-12 hours to obtain amino and thiol-based modified graphene/carbon nanotube composites.
