NOVELTY - Modified graphene oxide comprises sulfate/titanium dioxide-graphene oxide, phosphate/titanium dioxide-graphene oxide, and sulfate/zirconium dioxide-graphene oxide or phosphate/zirconium dioxide-graphene oxide. USE - The modified graphene oxide is used in preparation of flame retardant epoxy resin (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The oxide can generate solid super strong acid in the material pyrolysis process and improves the flame retardant performance of the flame-retardant electrophysiology system. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - AN INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the modified graphene oxide, comprising (i) co-precipitating the titanium salt or zirconium salt and graphene oxide in aqueous ammonia, using aqueous ammonia to adjust the pH to be 8-10, allowing to stand and reacting, filtering and drying to obtain the intermediate product; and (ii) placing the intermediate product in diluted sulfuric acid solution or phosphoric acid solution for soaking reaction, washing and filtering, and drying to obtain the modified graphene oxide.
