NOVELTY - Antistatic coating comprises 6 pts. wt. of modified poly (3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene)-polystyrene sulfonic acid, 17 pts. wt. of aromatic urethane acrylate , 10 pts. wt. of silicone resin, 10 pts. wt. of dimethylaminoethyl acrylate, 45 pts. wt. of diluent, 1 pts. wt. of triallyl isocyanurate, 0.5 pts. wt. of leveling agent, 15 pts. wt. of graphene, 5 pts. wt. of magnesium chloride, 5 pts. wt. of silver nanoparticles and 0.5 pts. wt. of organic bentonite. USE - Antistatic coating for home distribution box. ADVANTAGE - The antistatic coating is scratch resistant, non-toxic and ecofriendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing antistatic coating which involves: (A) dispersing sulfonated graphene, 3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene and polyethylene glycol taken in 2:3:0.1 weight ratio in deionized water to form a concentrated mixed system of polyethylene glycol containing 0.05 wt.% of sulfonated graphene; (B) adjusting the pH value to 4.5; (C) stirring mixed system at 500 rpm while adding an oxidizing agent and catalyst where oxidant to 3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene mass ratio is 1:2 and the catalyst to 3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene mass ratio is 0.01:1; and (D) stirring is continued for 10-72 hours to obtain desired antistatic coating.
