NOVELTY - The negative electrode (100) has a metal oxide layer (120) positioned on an upper surface of a negative electrode current collector (110). A reduced graphene oxide layer (130) is positioned on the upper surface of the oxide layer and below an anode active material layer (140). The reduced graphene and the metal oxide layers are chemically bonded to each other. Oxygen content of the graphene oxide is 0.1 to 15 atomic percent. USE - Negative electrode for lithium secondary battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The adhesive force between the current collector and the negative electrode active material layer is improved. The adhesive strength between the reduced graphene oxide layer and the metal oxide layer is increased. The energy density of the lithium secondary battery is greatly improved.
