NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene-manganese dioxide composite material involves centrifuging graphene oxide mixture to obtain a supernatant, adding ammonia to adjust pH, carrying out suction filtration, washing with water and calcining under inert atmosphere at 300-400 degrees C for 8-12 hours. USE - Preparation of graphene-manganese dioxide composite material used for energy storage e.g. capacitor (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses one-step transition from graphene oxide to reduced graphene oxide while supporting manganese dioxide. The composite material exhibits excellent electrochemical properties, and improves the effective utilization of the raw materials.
