NOVELTY - Preparing oxidized graphene oxide/sodium stannate ion battery cathode material comprises dispersing an aqueous solution of a chloride salt and sodium stannate in a graphene oxide solution, performing hydrothermal reaction to obtain suspension, subjecting to solid-liquid separation to obtain a precipitate, and calcining the precipitate at high temperature, where the chloride salt is manganese chloride, cobalt chloride hexahydrate or zinc chloride. USE - The material is useful for preparing sodium-ion battery cathode sheet (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and economical; and has easy control process. The material has excellent electrochemical storage performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) oxidized graphene oxide/sodium stannate ion battery cathode material, prepared as mentioned above; and (2) use of oxidized graphene oxide/sodium stannate ion battery cathode material, comprising mixing uniformly material with a binder and a conductive agent, coating on a copper foil, drying, and rolling to obtain sodium-ion battery cathode sheet.
