▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A complex comprises a photothermal agent functionalized over graphene oxide sheet. USE - Complex used for preparation of composite based resins (claimed) for theranostic applications e.g. cancer therapy and for filling dental cavities. ADVANTAGE - The complex provides cost effective good cavity restoration without polymer shrinkage problem. The composite resin is prepared at 3-4 times less price with multifunctional features such as improved dual curing, imaging, photothermal and antimicrobial properties, and wear resistance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) synthesis of complex comprising gold coated poly-(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles functionalized over graphene oxide sheets, which involves (i) synthesizing graphene oxide, (ii) synthesizing PLGA nanoparticles, (iii) synthesizing gold-PLGA nanoparticles, and (iv) functionalizing the nanoparticles over graphene oxide; and (2) preparation of composite resin comprising gold-PLGA coated graphene oxide, which involves pelletizing coated graphene oxide particles, dispersing in tetraethylene glycol diacrylate or tetraethylene glycol dimethacrylate, (b) mixing the dispersion with bisphenol A glycidyl methacrylate in 50:50 w/w ratio and 1% benzoyl peroxide and camphorquinone, and (c) dual curing the composite resin prepared in by filling in mold at soft or dough stage and curing using blue light for light curing and then near-infra red (NIR) light for in-depth curing.
