NOVELTY - A climbing rope is a composite material prepared by combining modified fiber bundles, modified nylon fibers and modified aramid fibers. Modified nylon fiber is prepared by: A1) forming pre-modified nylon by reacting nylon 66 dissolved in m-cresol, with triethylamine and epoxy chloropropane, adding tridecafluorooctyltriethoxysilane, dimethyldiethoxysilane, epoxypropyltrimethoxysilane and xylene, heating, adding deionized water and hydrochloric acid, and reacting to form intermediate 1; A2): dissolving intermediate 1 in n-hexane, adding pre-modified nylon solution and ethylenediamine, reacting, distilling to remove solvent, and drying substrate to form intermediate 2; A3) reacting graphene oxide dispersed in deionized water, with aminobenzene boric acid and 1-hydroxybenzotriazole, filtering, drying filter cake formed to obtain modified graphene which is added along with intermediate 2, into double-screw extruder, and melt extruded, followed by spinning to form nylon fiber. USE - As tree climbing ropes, prepared by recycling and reprocessing waste textile. ADVANTAGE - The tree climbing rope prepared by recycling and reprocessing waste textile, contains long chain fluorine alkane on the modified nylon fibre molecular chain, which provides fine hydrophobic effect to the rope. The modified nylon fibres of rope, are more compact, have reinforced toughness and wearability. The tree climbing rope has fine anti ultraviolet ageing effect, and improved mechanical properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the process for producing a climbing rope. The method involves: S1) soaking waste textiles in sodium hydroxide solution of mass fraction 30 %, for 20-30 minutes, passing through clear water, soaking in sodium chloride solution of mass fraction 20 % for 20-30 minutes, then, passing through clear water to form pretreated textiles; S2) cutting and dry-tearing pretreated textile, loosening and opening to form regenerated cotton, drawing it into fiber bundles which are soaked in dopamine solution for 3-5 hours to form modified fiber bundles; S3) combining modified fiber bundles, modified nylon fibers and modified aramid fibers based on number ratio 4:5:8, soaking in chloroform at 50-60degrees Celsius for 10-15 hours, taking out, cleaning and drying to form climbing rope.
