NOVELTY - Method for preparing a copper ion graphene oil material involves adding natural flake graphite powder to a base oil, stirring and mixing to form an oil phase graphite raw material, continuously adding a modified lipophilic layer removing agent during stirring and stirring the mixture for 5-7 hours to disperse the modified lipophilic layer removing agent with the graphite layer of the oil phase graphite raw material to form an oil phase mixture, adding the nonionic chelating copper to the oil phase mixture to carry out an infiltration reaction for 1 hour, adding an impact agent, stirring uniformly to form an oil phase reactant and leaving still the oil phase reactant to stand for 1-1.5 hours to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing a copper ion graphene oil material, which is useful in a paint product for destroying and sterilizing shellfish (claimed) and inhibiting bacteria. ADVANTAGE - The material prevents attachment of shellfish in boats, and reduces transportation cost caused due to maintenance and repainting. The paint product has copper ion content of greater than or equal to 15 parts per million.
