NOVELTY - Preparing oxidized graphene modified carbon fiber by silane coupling agent assisted electrophoretic deposition comprises placing carbon fiber after the desulfurization in an aqueous solution containing aminopropyltriethoxysilane and ethanol to carry out hydrolysis and amination to obtain carbon fiber treated with silane coupling agent, the carbon fiber processed by the silane coupling agent is connected with the power supply anode, the copper sheet is connected with the power supply cathode, graphene oxide solution as electrophoretic deposition solution and performing the electrophoresis deposition. USE - The method is useful for surface modification process of carbon fibers (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: improves interfacial shear strength of carbon fiber reinforced resin based composite material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the silane coupling agent is prepared by the above mentioned method.
