▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - A thiol-modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material comprises carbon nanotube and graphene oxide. The carbon nanotube is interposed between layers of graphene oxide or adhered to graphene oxide film. The surface of composite material has thiol-based film. USE - Thiol-modified graphene/carbon nanotube composite material used for removing heavy metal ions and organic pollutant in sewage. ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and has quick separation. The product has multiple reactive groups in the surface. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of composite material comprising: (A) dispersing carbon nanotube in mixed acid solution at 60-80 degrees C for 1-3 hours, filtering, washing, and drying to 80-120 degrees C for 8-12 hours to obtain purified carbon nanotube; (B) adding natural graphite into 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, mechanically stirring, adding sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate, stirring at 0-10 degrees C for 2.5-4 hours, water bath heating to 35 degrees C, slowly adding deionized water, heating to 90-100 degrees C, mechanically stirring for 20-40 minutes, adding de-ionized water to dilute to 600 mL, stirring for 5-15 minutes, adding 30 wt.% hydrogen peroxide, centrifuging at 8000-10000 revolutions/minute, ultrasonic oscillating for 30-60 minutes in anhydrous ethanol solution, and vacuum-drying for 12-24 hours to obtain graphene oxide; (C) sonicating purified carbon nanotube and graphene oxide for 2 hours respectively, adding purified carbon nanotube into graphene oxide, sonicating for 30-60 minutes, filtering through 0.45 mu m filter membrane, and vacuum-drying for 8-12 hours to obtain graphene oxide/carbon nanotube composite material; and (D) adding to absolute ethanol, ultrasonically oscillating for 5-15 minutes, pouring nitrogen, mechanical stirring for 5 minutes, adding acetic acid and 3-propyltrimethoxysilane, stirring for 12-24 hours at room temperature, continuously adding acetone, stirring for 6-12 hours, washing with alcohol and distilled water for 5-10 times, and vacuum-drying to 60-80 degrees C for 8-12 hours.
