NOVELTY - Preparation of moisture wicking antibacterial polyester fiber involves grinding polyester chips, obtaining polyester powder, mixing with plasticizer and reinforcing agent, adding the mixture into internal mixer, mixing, obtaining mixture (A), mixing graphene oxide powder and modifier, heating, and stirring obtaining mixture (B), adding mixture (A) and mixture (B) into granulator, adding reinforcing agent and microporous agent, melting and mixing, extruding and slicing to obtain polyester masterbatch, mixing the polyester masterbatch with balance polyester chips, adding into spinning machine, making polyester into filaments through a spinning machine, (9) using a special shaped extrusion port, drawing the fiber into a shape with channels, drawing and shaping the fiber, passing through a solvent dissolution tank, making the microporous agent dissolve, forming micropores inside and outside the fiber, winding the formed yarn into a roll by pulling the spinning roller, drying, and oiling. USE - Preparation of moisture wicking antibacterial polyester fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method uses graphene and other additives during the preparation of the masterbatch to improve the antibacterial property of the fiber, and adopts spinneret hole process to improve fiber shape and wicking property of the fiber. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of moisture wicking antibacterial polyester fiber involves (1) using polyester chips, graphene oxide powder, forming agent, modifier, plasticizer, reinforcing agent, and microporous agent as raw materials, (2) grinding polyester chips, obtaining polyester powder, (3) mixing polyester powder with plasticizer and forming agent, adding the mixture into internal mixer, (4) using pressurized internal mixer to achieve the best dispersion and uniformity of the mixture, obtaining mixture (A), (5) mixing graphene oxide powder and modifier, heating, and stirring obtaining mixture (B), (6) adding mixture (A) and mixture (B) into granulator, adding reinforcing agent and microporous agent, melting and mixing, extruding and slicing to obtain polyester masterbatch, (7) mixing the polyester masterbatch with balance polyester chips, adding into spinning machine, (8) making polyester into filaments through a spinning machine, (9) using a special shaped extrusion port, drawing the fiber into a shape with channels, (10) drawing and shaping the fiber, passing through a solvent dissolution tank, making the microporous agent dissolve, forming micropores inside and outside the fiber, (11) winding the formed yarn into a roll by pulling the spinning roller, drying, and (12) oiling.
