NOVELTY - Metal oxide-metal sulfide heterojunction material i.e. sodium-nickel-manganese-oxygen-manganese sulfide-nickel sulfide-complex of formula (Na0.67NixMn1-xO2-MnS2-Ni3S4), is new. USE - The heterojunction material is useful in lithium-sulfur batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material: avoids the complex hydrothermal and high-temperature sulfide processes; shortens the preparation cycle of the metal oxide metal sulfide heterojunction; realizes adsorption of polysulfides and the catalytic conversion of polysulfides; and improves the electrochemical performance of lithium-sulfur batteries. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Metal oxide-metal sulfide heterojunction material i.e. sodium-nickel-manganese-oxygen-manganese sulfide-nickel sulfide-complex of formula (Na0.67NixMn1-xO2-MnS2-Ni3S4), is new. x = 0-1. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: use method of the heterojunction material, comprising directly using the metal oxide precursor Na0.67NixMn1-xO2 (x = 0-1) as sulfur carrier material and assembling a lithium-sulfur battery, and adjusting the charge cut-off voltage to realize the metal oxide NaNiMnO(x = 0-1) generated by in-situ reconstruction;0.67x1 -x2 preparing the metal oxide-metal sulfide heterojunction; and a lithium-sulfur battery cathode material.
