NOVELTY - A composite lithium metal cathode comprises metallic lithium composite framework material and lithium-philic composite framework material comprising metal framework material, metal heterogeneous particles and reduced graphene oxide material. The metal framework material is copper, nickel, aluminum, iron or stainless-steel. The metal heterogeneous particles are gold, silver, platinum, zinc oxide, cobalt oxide, titanium oxide or molybdenum oxide. The composite lithium metal cathode has thickness of 1-600 mu m and working current of 0.05 mu A/cm2 to 500 mA/cm2. USE - Composite lithium metal cathode for battery. ADVANTAGE - The composite lithium metal cathode can effectively inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites, thereby increasing service life and cycle stability of battery and is prepared by simple preparation process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the composite lithium metal cathode, which involves using ionic liquid, graphene oxide, metal precursor, reducing agent, metal heterogeneous particles/reduced graphene oxide composite material, 0.1-50 wt.% metallic lithium, lithium-philic composite framework material and inert gas. The mass ratio of ionic liquid, graphene oxide and metal precursor is 1:1:1-10:10:1.
