NOVELTY - The component (1) has a substrate (4) and graphene layer (7'). The substrate is made of metallic material such as nickel-or cobalt-based superalloy. The graphene layer is directly arranged on the substrate. A metallic protective layer such as metal-chromium-aluminum layer (10) is formed on the substrate. A ceramic layer is directly arranged on the graphene layer. USE - Component e.g. high temperature operating element such as turbine blade of fluid flow machine, or combustion chamber. ADVANTAGE - The oxidation protection or corrosion protection or mechanical strength of the protective Layers can be improved clearly by the use of graphene alone or in the Combination with protective layers. The effect of oxidation and corrosion on the substrate and the metallic protective layer is reduced, so that the oxidation and/or corrosion rates are reduced significantly and the life of graphene layer and ceramic layer can be extended. The mechanical strength of the protective layers is increased, and the durability of layer system is enhanced by the application or introduction of graphene.
