NOVELTY - A graphene oxide and silver composite particle comprises core-shell structure of graphene oxide and silver. The core is organic or inorganic particle. The shell is graphene oxide-silver nanoparticles. The mass ratio of organic or inorganic particles to graphene oxide to silver nanoparticles is 100:1-2:0.8-1.6. USE - Graphene oxide and silver composite particle. ADVANTAGE - The method has low cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the preparation of graphene oxide and silver composite particle comprising ultrasonically dispersing 0.5-5 mg/ml graphite oxide in deionized water; dispersing organic or inorganic particles in deionized water; adding product in first step, standing, centrifuging and separating to obtain surface-coated graphite oxide core-shell structure composite particle; adding silver nitrate solution and reducing agent, carrying out reduction reaction at 70-90 degrees C for 5-7 hours under nitrogen atmosphere, cooling to room temperature, centrifuging, washing with deionized water and drying at 40-60 degrees C.
