NOVELTY - Making freeze-dried sponge-like graphene, comprises adding natural graphite and ultrasonically concentrated sulfuric acid in an ice bath and mixing for 15-60 minutes, adding sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate and mixing for 15-60 minutes, reacting the mixture for 0.5 hours, placing the mixed liquid in a water bath and stirring at 30-35 degrees C for 0.5-1.5 hours, adding deionized water to the mixed liquid, heating at 95-10 degrees C and stirring for 20-30 minutes, adding deionized water and hydrogen peroxide solution, centrifuging, washing, freeze-drying and heating at low pressure. USE - The method is useful for making freeze-dried sponge-like graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method rapidly, efficiently, simply and easily makes the freeze-dried sponge-like graphene with reduced energy consumption in an eco-friendly manner.
