▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Improving electrochemical activity of vanadium battery electrolyte comprises e.g. (i) weighing the corresponding amount of vanadyl sulfate solid according to the concentration of the electrolyte to be prepared, dissolving using distilled water, heating until the vanadyl sulfate solid is completely dissolved, filtering to obtain the tetravalent vanadium raw liquid, adding sulfuric acid into the tetravalent vanadium raw liquid, diluting by adding water to the needed concentration to obtain the tetravalent vanadium electrolyte, adding the tetravalent vanadium electrolyte into the electrolytic cell for electrolysis, when the reaction is carried out to vanadium (IV) ion: vanadium (III) ion = 1: 1, stopping to react, taking out and placing in the container for future use USE - The method is useful for improving electrochemical activity of vanadium battery electrolyte is useful in vanadium liquid flow battery, lithium battery and lead-acid battery. ADVANTAGE - The method: improves the conductivity of the whole electrolyte by adding reducing graphene oxide; can form a grid carrier capable of freely shuttling the conductive ion in the electrolyte, accelerate the conduction efficacy of the conductors ion, improves the whole electrochemical performance of the vanadium battery; utilizes the reduced graphene oxide is suitable for large-scale production; does not generate large influence to electrolyte itself and not affect the stable use of other components of the battery and cause pollution to the environment; and provides simple process flow and mild reaction condition.
