NOVELTY - Preparing polycarboxylate aqueous reducing agent using vinyl polyoxyethylene ether comprises (i) adding 100-150 kg large monomer, 0.5-1.5 kg ammonium persulfate and 120-180 kg de-ionized water into the reactor kettle equipped with a stirrer, thermometer and dropping device, and stirring evenly; (ii) dissolving the acrylic acid in de-ionized water to obtain A dropping liquid; (iii) dissolving the vitamin C and sodium hypophosphite in de-ionized water to obtain B dropping liquid; (iv) adding A and B dropping liquid, controlling the dropping time at 60plus minus3 minutes and controlling the reaction temperature at 15plus minus5degrees Celsius; and (v) dropping performance modifier at 12-15 minutes, maintaining the temperature for 1-1.5 hours at 15plus minus5 degrees Celsius to complete polymerization reaction and preserving heat. USE - The method is useful for preparing polycarboxylate aqueous reducing agent using vinyl polyoxyethylene ether. ADVANTAGE - The method: solves the phenomenon that the performance of the polycarboxylic acid is reduced due to excessively high temperature in the traditional method and the phenomenon of over-polymerization to form a gel; produces polycarboxylic acid with improved water reducing rate and slump retention property; saves the production time of the polycarboxylic acid; and improves the production rate.
