NOVELTY - Graphene reinforced polyethylene pipe comprises 75-100 pts. wt. polyethylene, 0.1-5 pts. wt. graphene, 3-8 pts. wt. lubricant, 2-4 pts. wt. antistatic agent and 3-5 pts. wt. flame retardant. USE - Used as graphene reinforced polyethylene pipe. ADVANTAGE - The pipe has good flexibility, mechanical strength, anti-aging property and antistatic property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the pipe, comprising (i) refluxing graphene and coupling agent in organic solvent for 80-120 minutes and removing the organic solvent to obtain organically modified graphene, (ii) mixing organically modified graphene with polyethylene in xylene, stirring at 125-135 degrees C and removing the xylene to obtain graphene/polyethylene modified master batch, (iii) mixing graphene/polyethylene modified master batch with polyethylene to be extruded and granulated to obtain composite of graphene and polyethylene, and (iv) melt-mixing composite with lubricant, antistatic agent and flame retardant and extruding.
