NOVELTY - Method for preparing separator coating material of lithium-sulfur battery involves (a) first stirring the capture layer material with high specific surface area in a solvent to make it evenly dispersed, (b) adding the metal inorganic salt required for preparing the adsorbent and the metal inorganic salt required for preparing the catalyst into the solution obtained in step (a), and stirring uniformly, (c) adding the adjuvant to the solution obtained in step (b) and stirring evenly, (d) subjecting the solution obtained in step (c) to hydrothermal reaction, followed by washing, centrifugation and drying, (e) passing the solid obtained in step (d) into the tube furnace for high temperature reaction, and (f) mixing the solid obtained in step (e) with a binder and add an organic solvent to make a slurry, which is then coated on the lithium-sulfur battery separator, and drying to obtain a lithium-sulfur battery separator coating material. USE - The method is used for preparing separator coating material of lithium-sulfur battery. ADVANTAGE - The diaphragm coating material has high specific surface area, and effectively inhibits the shuttle effect of polysulfide, and improves the performance of the battery.
