NOVELTY - The material has metal oxide particles that are uniformly distributed on surface of graphene. Metal particles and metal oxide particles are uniformly paved at graphite dilute base and a composite cathode material. The metal oxide is selected from a group consisting of ferric oxide, ferrosoferric oxide, cobalt oxide, nickel, tin oxide, copper oxide, titanium dioxide, manganese dioxide and vanadium pentoxide. USE - Graphene/metal oxide composite negative electrode material for lithium ion battery. ADVANTAGE - The method enables utilizing the three-dimensional structure of graphene composite cathode material for carrying metal oxide particles as carrier to prepare the graphene coated with metal oxide or graphite anchoring metal oxide, thus providing high specific capacity, better circulation stability, power performance and high energy density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing high performance graphene/metal oxide composite negative electrode material for lithium ion battery.
