NOVELTY - The device has a terahertz (THz) radiation detection device provided with a femtosecond laser, a time delay control system, a full-reflecting mirror, a convergent lens and polaroid sheet and a THz radiation detection system. A beam splitter is divided into two beams. The THz radiation detection device utilizes an electro-optic sampling probe to detect a THz pulse produced by the beams. A THz radiation generating device is provided with a half wave plate and a non-linear crystal part. Signal light is irradiated to a substrate-free graphene by an off-axis parabolic mirror. USE - Optical pumping based graphene substrate-free THz wave amplifying device.
