NOVELTY - Graphene/nickel oxide nanocomposite airgel capacitor desalination electrode comprises electrode material and graphite paper substrate. The electrode material comprises graphene/nickel nano-composite gas gel component. The graphene /nickel oxide nano composite gas gel is formed in the surface of the three-dimensional net-shaped graphene air gel and its holes are composed of nano nickel oxide growth in situ. USE - Method for preparing graphene/nickel oxide nanocomposite airgel capacitor desalination electrode used for capacitance desalting performance (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) a method for preparing graphene/nickel oxide nano composite gas gel, which involves preparing solution containing graphite and nickel salt and precipitating agent, performing hydrothermal reaction under the temperature of 140-220 degrees C, adding precursor in the obtained mixture, putting the obtained mixture under the protective atmosphere and heating the obtained mixture at 200-300 degrees C; and (2) a mehod for preparing raphene/nickel oxide nanocomposite airgel capacitor desalination electrode, which involves mixing graphene/nickel oxide nano-composite gas gel with conductive agent and bonding agent, coating the mixture on graphite paper substrate through coating method and drying to obtain the product.
