NOVELTY - Composite material comprises substrate and a cover on substrate, polyvinylidene chloride/graphene composite layers, or substrate, and covering of adhesive layer on substrate, and polyvinylidene chloride/graphene composite material layer group, where polyvinylidene chloride/graphene composite material layer comprises polyvinylidene chloride and graphene in an amount of 0.1-10wt.%. USE - Composite material. ADVANTAGE - The composite material has barrier property, electrical conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing composite material, which involves: (A) uniformly dispersing 0.1-10 pts. wt. graphene oxide in 100 pts. wt. solvent to form graphene oxide dispersion, and adding 5-300 pts. wt. polyvinylidene chloride emulsion and stirring until graphene oxide dispersion and polyvinylidene chloride emulsion are uniformly mixed to obtain composite emulsion, where solvent is water, ethanol, acetone or tetrahydrofuran, and solids content of polyvinylidene chloride in polyvinylidene chloride emulsion is 10-80%; (B) coating obtained emulsion in treated or pre-coated adhesive on a substrate, and drying to obtain polyvinylidene chloride/graphene oxide composite or applying composite emulsion in substrate that is treated or pre-coated with adhesive and drying and repeating coating and drying for once to obtain a polyvinylidene chloride/graphene oxide composites; and (C) using reducing agent in obtained polyvinylidene chloride/graphene oxide composite to reduce graphene oxide to graphene, drying and curing for 1-3 days at 30-45 degrees C to obtain final product.
