NOVELTY - Graphene composition comprises thiourea graphene zeolite (I). USE - The graphene composition and graphene composite is useful for adsorbing gold ion in gold-containing solution (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene composition can absorb and desorb gold ions in gold-containing solution. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Graphene composition comprises thiourea graphene zeolite of formula (I). INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for: (1) method to adsorb a gold ion in a gold-containing solution using the graphene composition; (2) processing gold ion in gold-containing solution comprising contacting the graphene composition with the gold ions in the gold-containing solution; (3) graphene composite comprising a carrier, and graphene composition containing (I), which is located on the surface of the carrier; and (4) manufacturing thiourea graphene zeolite, comprising (a) reacting a zeolite with mixed solution containing 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane and ethanol to obtain a reacted zeolite, (b) mixing graphene oxide with water to form suspension, (c) dissolving thiourea in water to form a thiourea solution, and (d) mixing and heating the thiourea solution, reacting the suspension and the reacted zeolite to form a thiourea graphene zeolite.
