▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Forming diamonds within glass involves heating a source of glass forming compounds with a glass-modifiers and non-graphitic carbon source above the melting point of glass forming compounds to convert into a liquid glassy state, and cooling the liquid to get the in-situ formed diamond embedded glass. USE - Method for forming diamonds within phosphate or boron glass (all claimed) used in biomedical engineering and ceramic engineering. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to form diamonds within glass in a safe, cost-effective and short time, involves waste management, that is, conversion of organic waste to nano-diamonds, does not include use of sophisticated instruments, costly equipment's, raw materials or catalysts, and is safe to be used in laboratories without any controlled or, regulated environment.
