▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A carbon fiber composition comprises carbon fiber and functionalized epoxy resin obtained by drying 50 ml graphene oxide at 4.02 mg/ml in a vacuum chamber, dissolving the dried graphene oxide in 100 ml isopropyl alcohol, ultrasonically processing for 1 hour until reaches a colloidal suspension and mixing the solution with the epoxy resin under mechanical stirring for 10 minutes. USE - Composition used for multilayer ballistic shields for protecting against firing of rifle with ammunition of high impact power (all claimed) to improve defense and security in civil and military. ADVANTAGE - The composition improves dissipation of the impact energy of the projectile while maintaining its integrity, and provides composite which is easily processing, lightweight and having excellent mechanical and specific properties at low cost. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for manufacture of the composition, which involves preparing the carbon fibers for functionalization with graphene oxide, functionalizing carbon fibers, preparing 30 vol.% carbon fibers based on the composite, functionalizing the epoxy resin to produce the composite, pouring the epoxy/graphene oxide functionalized resin into the metallic matrix until the bottom is completely wet, gradually adding the carbon fibers functionalized with graphene oxide together with the epoxy/graphene oxide resin, ensuring all the fibers are wetted by the resin, pressing the mixture at room temperature using a hydraulic press with 5 tons force for 24 hours, demolding the composite plate, and assembling the multilayer ballistic shield.
