NOVELTY - Method for manufacturing graphene nanosheets using electrode material, involves weighing graphite and potassium chlorate, adding graphite to mixed liquid formed by mixing concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid, adding potassium chlorate to obtained mixture, washing reacted mixture using dilute hydrochloric acid solution and deionized water, grinding and screening dried mixture to obtain graphite oxide powder, mixing expanded graphite and grinding pebble, and ball milling mixture to obtain graphene nanosheets. USE - The method is useful for manufacturing graphene nanosheet used as electrode slice for supercapacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple and easy, and enables to manufacture graphene sheet having high specific capacitance. The supercapacitor maintains capacitance conservation rate to 85% or more when the electrode is at current density of 100 mA/g. The stable specific capacitance reaches to 164-210 F/g and current density increases to 2000 mA/g from 100 mA/g. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for manufacturing graphene nanosheets using electrode material, involves (a) weighing graphite and potassium chlorate in ratio of 1:10, (b) adding graphite to mixed liquid formed by mixing concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid in volume ratio of 2:1, and then adding potassium chlorate to obtained mixture gradually, (c) reacting the mixture at 0-4 degrees C and after 72-100 hours of oxidation reaction, (d) washing the reacted mixture using dilute hydrochloric acid solution and deionized water repeatedly until there is no chloride ion and sulfate ion and the pH value is neutral, (e) drying washed mixture in vacuum at 60 degrees C, (f) grinding and screening dried mixture to obtain graphite oxide powder, and (g) placing obtained powder in crucible and placing the crucible in muffle furnace at 1000 degrees C, heating the crucible for 10-30 seconds in air atmosphere of furnace to obtain expanded graphite, mixing expanded graphite and grinding pebble evenly in a ratio of 377:1 and ball-milling obtained mixture for 2-6 hours using planetary ball mill at the rotating speed of 328-528 revolutions per minute to obtain graphene nanosheets. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for electrode slice of supercapacitor, which comprises the above-mentioned graphene nanosheet and adhesive in the mass ratio of 9:1.
