NOVELTY - Heating apparatus (10) comprises a body (14), a chamber (18) defined by the body, where the chamber comprises an upper region and a lower region, and a thermal plate (38) that provides heat to the chamber. The thermal plate comprises a coating (42), where the coating comprises a thermo-resistive layer (46). The thermo-resistive layer comprises a polymeric portion and a nanostructure portion. The thermal plate is positioned in at least one location chosen from the upper region and the lower region of the chamber. USE - Heating apparatus, such as wall ovens, stoves, air fryers, cooktops, refrigerators, dishwashers, clothes dryers, clothes washing machines, water heaters, space heaters, and so on. ADVANTAGE - The heating apparatus has thermo-resistive layer with Graphene nano-platelets, that are hybrid structures between graphene and graphite. The graphene nano-platelets have a planar structure, are light weight, have a high aspect ratio, are electrical conductivity, are low cost, and have good mechanical toughness.
