▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-based superhydrophobic magnesium alloy comprises (i) initially polishing magnesium alloy with sandpaper of 60 mesh, 120 mesh, 320 mesh, 600 mesh and 1200 mesh to remove impurities and oxides on the surface, ultrasonically cleaning using isopropanol and acetone for 10 minutes to remove organic matter and then drying it using nitrogen and (ii) performing electro-deposition using electrolyte composition having 20-40 wt.% graphene oxide, 10-20 wt.% linolenic acid and 40-70 wt.% isopropanol. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-based superhydrophobic magnesium alloy. ADVANTAGE - The alloy: has excellent corrosion resistance in 10% hydrochloric acid corrosive medium (claimed) which is more than 97%; and has wide range of industrial application prospects.
