NOVELTY - A graphene material is produced by dispersing starting graphitic material in liquid medium to form graphite suspension, and introducing graphite suspension into hydrodynamic cavitation reactor that exfoliates and separates graphene planes from starting graphitic material to produce graphene material dispersed in liquid medium. USE - Production of graphene material. ADVANTAGE - Amount of undesirable chemical is reduced, process time is shortened, energy consumption is less, and degree of graphene oxidation is lowered.
