NOVELTY - Manufacture of graphene flakes involves impregnating a positive electrode and a negative electrode, both containing a graphene precursor, with an electrolyte solution containing a metal salt of an anionic organic monomer, applying a voltage to the positive electrode and the negative electrode to form an intercalation compound between the anionic organic monomer and the graphene precursor, exfoliating graphene flakes from the graphene precursor, and separating the graphene flakes. USE - Manufacture of graphene flakes used in dispersion solution (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to electrical/electronic device, nano-sensor, optoelectronic device, electrode additive, and functional composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient manufacture of graphene flakes with high quality and excellent dispersibility with respect to solvent.
