NOVELTY - The system has a transmitter comprising a set of transmit antennas arranged in an array to transmit an electromagnetic beam. A receiver is attached to a computing system, where the receiver comprises a receive antenna configured to receive the electromagnetic beam transmitted by the transmitter. An avalanche photo diode (APD) is affixed to the computing system using a thermal interface, and is biased close to a breakdown voltage of the APD using the at least one electromagnetic beam, and a temperature measurement circuit is configured to measure the temperature of the system using the breakdown voltage, where each of the transmit antennas is coated with reduced graphene oxide. USE - Temperature sensing system for measuring temperature of a computing system. ADVANTAGE - The temperature of the computing system can be measured with high precision.
