NOVELTY - Preparing nylon 6 slices in hot water-free extraction process comprises heating and mixing caprolactam, water and various auxiliary agent and stirring to obtain a mixture, and preforming ring-opening reaction in pre-polymerization tank to obtain nylon 6 prepolymer, preforming polycondensation reaction in post-polymerization tank, conveying the melt to a twin-screw extruder with vacuum system for viscosifying reaction, extracting reaction product while extruding to remove the remaining monomers and oligomers to obtain nylon 6 resin, drawing, pelletizing and packaging, where the various auxiliary agents includes molecular weight stabilizer and functional auxiliary agent, the molecular weight stabilizer includes monobasic acid, mono-amine, polybasic acid, and/or polyamine, the functional auxiliary agent is a titanium dioxide, a carbon nano tube, graphene antibacterial agent, lubricant, antioxidant, ultraviolet absorbent, flame retardant, fluorescent material, and cathode ion material. USE - The method is useful for preparing nylon 6 slices in hot water-free extraction process. ADVANTAGE - The method has extreme high process control flexibility, ensures the quality of the melt, increases and improves the viscosity of nylon 6 chips, realizes the solid phase removal of unreacted caprolactam, cyclic dimer and other hot water extractables, solves the problems of tedious and generally uses lengthy post-treatment process in the hot water continuous extraction process in industry today.
