▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A composite thin film (212) comprises graphene sheets dispersed in or bonded by an electron-conducting polymer (216), where composite thin film has a thickness of 2 nm to 500 mum and an electrical conductivity of 10-4-104 S/cm. Graphene sheets occupy 10-99 wt.% of the total weight of the film, and polymer network occupies 1-90 wt.% of the total weight of the film. USE - A composite thin film for use as current collector for battery or supercapacitor (claimed). Can be used for lithium-ion cell, lithium-metal cell, or lithium-ion capacitor, non-lithium battery (such as, zinc-air cell, nickel metal hydride battery, sodium-ion cell, and magnesium-ion cell), and other electrochemical energy storage cells. ADVANTAGE - The lithium batteries and supercapacitors featuring the composite thin film as current collectors exhibit a higher voltage output, higher energy density, higher power density, more stable chare-discharge cycling response, and last longer without capacity decay or corrosion issues as compared to prior art graphene-based current collectors. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) current collector comprising the composite thin film; (2) current collector comprising a metal foil having two primary surfaces, where at least one of the primary surfaces is chemically bonded to the composite thin film to form the current collector; and (3) producing the composite thin film which involves (a) dispersing multiple graphene sheets in a reacting mass comprising an oligomer or a monomer, an initiator or catalyst, a curing or crosslinking agent, and/or a liquid solvent to form a reacting suspension, (b) depositing a wet layer of the reacting suspension onto at least one of the two primary surfaces of a solid substrate, and (c) polymerizing or crosslinking the reacting suspension and at least partially removing any liquid or unreacted ingredients to form the composite thin film supported by the solid substrate.
